Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Jaipur
Upon arrival in Jaipur, meet a representative at a pre-decided location and transfer to your pre-booked hotel for check-in and relaxation. Begin your exploration with a short stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal, a symbol of Jaipur, followed by a visit to Jantar Mantar, home to the world's largest sundial. Next, explore the City Palace and Museum, the current residence of the royal family, showcasing weaponry and handlooms used by the royals. In the evening, visit the revered Govind Dev Ji Temple and explore the local market. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Jaipur. Begin by exploring the historic Amer Fort, which has witnessed numerous wars, royal celebrations, and served as the residence for several rulers. Next, visit the Jaigarh Fort, home to one of the largest cannons, and the Nahargarh Fort, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city. Stop by the picturesque Jal Mahal for a photo opportunity, perhaps dressed in traditional Indian attire. Conclude your day with a visit to the beautiful Birla Temple, made of white marble and adorned with carvings depicting various mythological events. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 3: Jaipur to Jodhpur
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, check out of the hotel and begin your drive towards Jodhpur. Arrive by afternoon and check in to your hotel. Start your exploration with a visit to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, perched on a hill and visible from all parts of the city. Next, visit Jaswant Thada, often referred to as the "Taj Mahal of Marwar," made of exquisite white marble sheets. In the evening, take some time to explore the bustling market at Ghanta Ghar. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 4: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer
Start your day with a delicious breakfast before heading to Jaisalmer, also known as the Golden City. En route, take a short stop at the Jaisalmer War Memorial, which honors the contributions and sacrifices of war heroes while tracing the evolution of the Indian Army. Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, check into your hotel and rest for a while. Later, visit the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort, which appears to rise from the desert sands and offers breathtaking views of the city. As one of the few living forts in the world, Jaisalmer Fort is home to many residents, and its streets are lined with shops selling unique leather goods. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Sightseeing in Jaisalmer
Wake up to a beautiful morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Begin your sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer by visiting the serene Gadisar Lake, perfect for a calming morning stroll. Next, explore the intricate architecture of Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmahal ki Haveli, and Salim Singh ki Haveli, all dating back to the 12th to 15th centuries, known for their exquisite carvings and filigree work. In the afternoon, head to the Sam Sand Dunes and check into a desert camp. Experience the thrill of dune bashing over the sand dunes and enjoy a camel ride while watching a spectacular sunset. As the evening unfolds, immerse yourself in local culture with folk performances around a bonfire, accompanied by an authentic Rajasthani meal. Enjoy an overnight stay at the desert camp in Jaisalmer.
Day 6: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur and Departure
After breakfast, check out from the desert camps and proceed with your transfer to Jaisalmer or Jodhpur Railway Station/Airport for your onward journey. This marks the end of your tour, leaving you with wonderful memories of your time in Rajasthan.
